Refund Policy

Overview

This policy applies to retirement reserve checklist sessions, custom offline balance book commissions, and ledger review appointments booked with Utility Birch Way.

Eligibility for full refund

• Appointments cancelled 48+ hours in advance: full refund of any prepaid fee.
• Binding commissions cancelled before proof approval: full refund minus ₩20,000 proofing fee if custom layouts were drafted.
• Service not delivered due to our cancellation: full refund within 7 business days.

Partial refunds

• Appointments cancelled within 48 hours: 50% refund if draft checklist materials were not yet printed; no refund if materials were prepared.
• Binding commissions cancelled after proof approval but before cutting: 50% refund to cover materials and labour already invested.
• Ledger review ending early at client request: prorated refund for unused time beyond the first 30 minutes, at our discretion.

Non-refundable items

• Completed checklist sessions and delivered bound books
• Rush binding surcharges once production has started
• Home visit travel fees if the consultant arrived at your address
• No-show appointments without prior notice

Refund process

Email contact@utilitybirchway.click with your name, appointment date, and reason. We confirm eligibility within 3 business days. Approved refunds are transferred to the original bank account within 14 business days.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted per booking if requested 48+ hours in advance. Additional reschedules incur a ₩15,000 administrative fee.

Deposits

Binding commissions over ₩200,000 require a 40% deposit. Deposits follow the cancellation rules above.

Work already started

If we have begun handwriting column proofs or printing checklist drafts specific to your accounts, cancellation refunds exclude labour and materials consumed to that point.

Purchased materials

Special-order cover fabrics or embossing plates ordered solely for your book are non-refundable once ordered from suppliers.

Exceptions

Illness or bereavement documented with reasonable notice may qualify for full credit toward a future appointment rather than a cash refund. Contact us to discuss.
